Wong Tung is pleased to announce that our project “A 36-classroom primary school at Area 9, Tai Po” has won the Construction Industry Council’s Outstanding MiC Project Award this year!

Attending the MiC Achievement Ceremony 2022 with our client’s representatives from ArchSD and our main contractor’s representative from Yau Lee Construction Co. Ltd. on 14 December, we had a good time exchanging views on future trends of construction and of course, on MiC construction.

The MiC Achievement Awards aim to recognize outstanding local projects, project teams, MiC advocates and practitioners for their contributions to the promotion and adoption of MiC.

Scheduled for completion in 2023, the Tai Po Area 9 Primary School is the first school project in Hong Kong in adopting full MiC for classrooms, student toilets, EL rooms and pantry. The valuable experience of MiC design and implementation gained in this project will set a good example for the forthcoming school developments in the future.
