Guilin Shangri-La Hotel

This is a 5-star hotel project situated to the north of the Guilin City right by the Li Jiang River. Since Guilin is acclaimed for its landscaping scenery, the ‘Building-Landscape Interface’ is being emphasized in the design concept. The hotel is a 8-storey building and houses about 500 guest rooms. Total GFA is approximate 77,100sqm. Both the tower and podium are integrated with traditional Chinese architectural elements such as tiled pitched roof, hanging eaves, brackets and colonnades. The white, grey and blue colors are the main tone of the exterior elevations, which has mixed with the dark grey tiled roof and other Chinese red decorative features to create an elegant and vivid atmosphere. The extensive outdoor landscaped garden on the north side of hotel adjoins the river shore and amalgamated with the natural landscape scenery.
