The MGM Cotai is a large-scale entertainment complex consisting of a 1,500 rooms luxury resort hotel, gaming facilities, state-of-the-art performance venue, convention facilities and retail/ F&B spaces located in Cotai, Macau. One of the major attractions for this project is the “Spectacle”, which is a curvilinear glass roof, spanning over an of about 135m x 70m. Overall development scale of this project is about 375,000sqm GFA.

Extensive green technologies was adopted in the building which is amongst the first buildings of achieving 2 Star Certificate of Green Building Design Label by China Green Building and Energy Saving (Macau) Association.

2019 The largest self-supporting free-span gridshell glazed roof of 8,073.1sqm (86,898.1 ft2), covering the atrium at MGM Cotai in Macau, China, verfied on 19 Jan 2019 by Guinness World Record.
