A government–subvented project in which 2 independent schools are required to be put adjacent to each other within a single land parcel but with a shared assembly hall. In addition, the brief called for 36 classrooms, 9 special rooms, 4 small group teaching rooms, a guidance activity room, 2 interview rooms, a staff common room, a staff room, a conference room, a student activity centre and a library. The design objective was to give a different identity to each school and yet to enable them to read as a coherent whole externally.
