Hyatt Regency Hotel /
Teaching Hotel of Chinese University

Shatin, Hong Kong

Designed for acquiring hands-on experience by the students of the then new Hotel Management Programme jointly run by the Chinese University and Cornell University, New York, the disposition of the hotel development took the form of a sweeping curve by capitalizing on its unique site location: with uninterrupted views overlooking the Tolo Harbour to the north and the hillside greenery of the surrounding campus environment in other directions. The completed hotel has 23 suite floors and 626 guest rooms, generally divided into 2 wings. Both wings sit on a common podium comprising 3 floors of F&B and other amenities including pools and a large landscaped garden.
