Changsha Hua Yuan – Grand Hyatt

Huayuan Centre, Changsha, China

Discover the landmark hotel by the Xiangjiang River in Changsha—Grand Hyatt Changsha, which offers breathtaking views of the river and aims to become a premier destination for exquisite cuisine, trendy lifestyles, and entertainment in Hunan's capital and the central region of China. The guest rooms at Grand Hyatt Changsha are located on the 46th to 61st floors of the Huayuan Center's T1 tower, which stands at 269 meters tall and was ranked as the 19th tallest building in the world in 2016, providing stunning perspectives of the Xiangjiang River and the city skyline.

The hotel boasts 345 spacious and luxurious guest rooms, each featuring panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase spectacular views of either the city or the river. A variety of exquisite dining options await guests, ensuring that each meal is unique and unforgettable. The grand ballroom, spacious and filled with natural light through its floor-to-ceiling glazing, beautifully combines modernity with elegance. Flexible and stylish meeting spaces offer unparalleled experiences tailored to guests' needs.

The design concept, inspired by the theme "Set Sail," incorporates graceful curves in both the towers and retail podium, complemented by a dynamic sail-like silhouette. The T1 super high rise tower is strategically positioned at the southwest corner of the site, at the intersection of Xiangjiang Avenue and Renmin West Road, providing views of Yuelu Mountain and Orange Island, as well as the winding river. The façade design is inspired by the vertical sails of traditional Chinese sailboats, characterized by its simplicity and fluidity, which conveys a sense of dynamism. The decorative lighting at the top further emphasizes this concept, enhancing the sailing effect.
