Situated at the hillside in Tseung Kwan O, the Shaw Studios, known to many as the Hong Kong Movie City, features some of the largest sound stages in Asia. Taking up over 40,000 square meters of land, this complex consists of a full-service colour laboratory and digital imaging facility, over 20 sound and editing suites, a 400-seat dubbing and screening theatre and executive and production office space. Outdoor facilities include an open exhibition area with a “Hall of Fame”, “Main Street” and an 8,000 square meter open area for filming outdoor sequences. This world-class studio complex demonstrates the commitment to all filmmakers in Hong Kong and the entire world.
