Located in the heart of Changsha's bustling city center, the Changsha IFS is a lively high-end commercial complex and a hub for trendy fashion. Its T2 Tower rises to 315 meters, with a total construction floor area of 159,876sqm²; the structure and curtain wall installation were completed in 2017. In response to market demand, its functional use has undergone significant modifications: the original L8-L16 hotel (total area of 31,457sqm²) and L17-L63 office space (total area of 128,216 sqm²) have been transformed into the Maqo Hotel in the low zone (L8-L16 at 33,586sqm²), serviced apartments in the mid zone (L17-L53 at 92,572sqm²), and the Park Hyatt Hotel in the high zone (L54-L63 at 33,717sqm²).

The renovation of T2 Tower includes structural reinforcement and modifications above the B5 level of the basement, reconfiguration of elevator zones, upgrades to the curtain wall to accommodate the new functions, and redesign of all interior spaces. Revised schematic designs, extended preliminary designs, and construction drawings were submitted, and participation in the tendering process for the main contractor, MEP subcontractors, and interior decoration subcontractors took place.

The Maqo Hotel features 286 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar, a shared workspace, and a fitness center, creating unique art and cultural experiences for guests, along with activities centered around physical and mental wellness.
