Located in the core area of the Shanghai Suhewan landmark zone, the Enterprise Centre comprises two Grade A office towers, Enterprise Suites and ancillary retail spaces. The key challenge was to overcome the constraints of an L-shaped site, the statutory daylighting requirement for a residential project in the south, as well as the building separation regulations. As a solution, the tallest and most prestige T1 office tower is positioned near the main road as a visual landmark whilst T2 office tower and T3 SA tower are located along the inner road serve as a gateway of the development with a drop-off area in between. An interplay between metal cladding and glass blocks is the main façade concept with the view to giving a different identity to each tower. The curvilinear built form of the podium helps create functional and yet interesting open spaces for F&B and festival events.
